It was a television show that was filmed back in the 90’s about 6 *friends* who live in the same apartment complex. Their lives consist of being with each other LITERALLY all of the time, constant sarcastic humor, and what great friends each of them can be.
New Girl: It is a television show that was filmed in the 2010’s. It is about an awkward but upbeat girl named Jess Day who has moved in with 3 guys just after a rough breakup. Nick Miller, witty as ever, is an underachiever who is a bartender. Schmidt is obsessing about his social standing and sees Jess as a personal project. Winston Bishop is a former athlete who moves into the loft after he realizes he’ll never go pro. Cece is Jess’s model best friend who has been by her side since elementary school. With all of them combined, they bond to form a very dysfunctional family.
Parks and Recreation-
Leslie Knope is a midlevel bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation department of Pawnee, Indiana who takes complete pride of her town. Her goal is to beautify the town while boosting her career by helping local nurse Ann Parkins into changing an abandoned construction site into a community park. The simple project is changed by every turn due to selfish neighbors, government red flags, and other bureaucrats. Leslie’s colleague Tom Haverford is as likely to undermine her efforts as to help her, while her boss, Ron Swanson is opposed to government in any form, even though he’s a bureaucrat himself.
It is a television show that was filmed in the late 2000’s. High school is over for the privileged former students at an exclusive prep school on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, but Gossip Girl still shares text-messaged scoops on scandals and heartaches within the group. As the graduates move onto their futures, with some attending college and others focusing on their intense careers, Gossip Girl continues to stir the pot and feed any potential scandals. And still, the identity of Gossip Girl remains a mystery…
How to Lose a Guy in 10 days (2003)
Andie Anderson (Kate Hudson), an advice columnist, tries pushing the boundaries of what she can write about in her new piece about how to get a man to leave you in 10 days. Her editor, Lana, loves it, and Andie goes off to find a man she can use for the experiment. Ben Berry (Matthew McConaughey), who is so confident in his romantic skills, thinks he can make any woman fall in love with him in 10 days. When Andie and Ben meet, their plans backfire.
Two Weeks Notice (2002)
Dedicated environmental lawyer Lucy Kelson (Sandra Bullock) goes to work for billionaire George Wade (Hugh Grant) as part of a deal to preserve a community center she grew up in. Weak-willed George grows dependent on Lucy’s guidance on everything from legal matters to clothing. Irritated, Lucy gives a * two-week notice* and picks Harvard graduate June Carter as her replacement. As Lucy’s time at the firm comes to an end, she grows jealous of June and has second thoughts about leaving George.
