by Taylor Rhyman

If you are a senior and have a tendency to put everything that is important off until the very last minute then this is the article you have been waiting for.

As college acceptance emails and letters start flooding through, you may be starting to realize that you are going to have to somehow, someway, pay for your education. Luckily for you, fellow procrastinator, you have a TON of resources that you may not have known exist.

Let’s start with FAFSA. Now if you are a student at Tulare Western you have heard about FAFSA, unless, of course, you are living under a rock. Wh

en your counselors and teachers get on to you about applying for FAFSA, they are looking out for your best interest. Basically it is a form that you can fill out to apply for federal grants, loans, and work-study funds for college. The U.S. Department of Education, provides more than $150 billion in student aid each year. The application is free, so whether you think you can get money or not, it does not hurt to apply.

With that being said let me show you how to find some scholarships on Naviance.

Start by logging in and clicking on the tab that says COLLEGES.
