Senior’s Dwindling Time

by: Kennedy Oliver

We are in the last days of January and it’s off to the races for us seniors.

The countdown has already started, but as I ponder today I realized how close we are to the end. February is about to start, spring sports are in swing, and already a few of us are receiving college acceptance letters.

There’s no need for hysteria, but it’s a nice friendly reminder that we are almost to the home-stretch. We truly feel like we have all the time in the world, however it’s time to prepare ourselves for our future.

We are all planning our schedules and it’s going to be a whirlwind, but I remind all seniors to take each day by force. We may get tired of school, but each moment we are creating memories to last when we all come back in 30 years and reminisce over how things used to be.

So it may be tough but remember that we don’t have much time left, more precisely 130 days until graduation. So I challenge you and implore you to make these last days unforgettable.
