As we all know, kindness should be a part of our everyday lives. Christians On Campus have recently reminded us of how easy yet impactful those random kind acts can truly be. This group of students meets weekly in Mr. Saesee’s classroom to discuss ways that God has played a major role in their lives especially in sports, the classroom, and relationships. They have been planning this act of kindness as a practice of “following God’s way” and being servant-minded.
After several discussions, planning, and packing of many lunches, these students performed one of the most simple and powerful acts of kindness. By sacrificing their lunch period on January 17th, 2017, they were able to give out many lunches to students around the Tulare Western campus.
This resulted in happy students all the way around. After reflecting upon the event, students agreed it was a “win-win situation” since it’s just as beneficial to give than to receive.
